This is something magical. Midnight Blooms our first single. We were motivated by and felt the sense of urgency to write, when we were invited to play Bahrain Jazz festival 2021. It originally started with a piano riff that Szabi (Trumpet) started playing on the piano as we were exiting the jam room to take a break. Upon our return we heard that Szabi and Ryan John (Drummer) had come up with something interesting. It was a groove in 7/4 odd time signature. Ryan James (Bass) added a head nodding bass line to it and soon Khalil Qureshi (Guitar) added the C minor chord ringing through the lush plate reverb, tape delay pedal and warm tubes of the 100 watt amp in the room. Karl Roderick (Guitar) brought in an infectious collection of arpeggios that fit the song perfect. “We have a psychedelic blues instrumental” Khalil said. Down the line Joshua Pandit (Synthesizer) added synth lines through the Moog grandmother. Midnight Blooms is our take on Jazz rock with Psychedelic blues. We want you to take this journey of sound with us.
