Read moreA 6 piece collective fusing elements from Psychedelic, Blues, Rock and Jazz. Formed in 2019 by Khalil Qureshi after his move from Austin, Texas to Bahrain. The band has been making noise in the region, winning “Debut Recording Artist of the year 2023” at Musivv Awards in Dubai. Hotboxgroove has been very active playing Big stages in Bahrain and other festivals such as, Bahrain Jazz Festival 2020/21/22/23, Bahrain F1 Village 2022,23,24, Bahrain Food Festival 2023, Bahrain Festival City 2022/23. Feta de la Musique 2023/24, Opened for the Trombone legend Jeff Bradshaw and his band 2023 and many more. The band has been able to develop a signature sound of Psychedelic Blues Rock on the Island. They have released 2 Singles, Midnight Blooms and Gut Bucket. Band is lead by Khalil Qureshi -Guitar, Szabi Nigo - Trumpet, Ryan John - Drums, Sunny Salis - Guitar, Ryan James - Bass and Joshua Pandit - Vocals. The band is on track to releasing 2 new upcoming singles. Guidance and INDUS. Hotboxgroove has written 7 original songs as of now. “Our goal is to heal our listeners and develop an authentic style, sound representing Bahrain through the region and beyond.”
